Summer Youth Athletic Program
This is why we do what we do.

Gray Wolf Summer Athletic Performance Program
Every summer, a lot of athletes train.
They lift, they run, they sweat—and most of it looks the same.
What we’re building at Gray Wolf is different.
This isn’t random workouts or conditioning sessions. It’s a structured performance system designed to develop athletes over time—physically, mentally, and mechanically.
What We’re Actually Training
At the core of our program are five key elements:
Speed & Acceleration – how fast an athlete can move and react
Strength – the foundation for power and durability
Power & Elasticity – jumping, explosiveness, and force production
Movement Quality – how efficiently and safely an athlete moves
Resilience – reducing injury risk and building long-term durability
Every session is built around these. Nothing is random.
Why We Program the Way We Do
Most programs separate everything:
lift one day
run another
condition another
That’s not how athletes develop.
We structure our week so athletes are consistently training speed, strength, and movement together, with each day having a clear emphasis.
Here’s how that looks:
Day 1: Acceleration + Lower Body Strength
Day 2: Upper Body Strength + Power
Day 3: Jumping + Elastic Development
Day 4: Change of Direction + Deceleration
Day 5: Total Body Strength + Mobility
Each day builds on the next.
We place speed work when the nervous system is fresh.
We layer strength in a way that supports performance, not just fatigue.
We manage intensity so athletes can train consistently and actually improve.
This isn’t about crushing athletes for a day.
It’s about progressing them over 12 weeks.
Built for Every Level
We run four levels within the same system:
Foundations
For younger or newer athletes.
Focus: coordination, confidence, and learning how to move.
Development
For middle school athletes ready for structure.
Focus: technique, consistency, and building a base of strength.
Performance
For high school athletes.
Focus: intensity, output, and translating training to sport.
Elite (Invite Only)
For athletes serious about playing at the next level.
This group is held to a higher standard—on the floor and off it.
Training is more intentional, more demanding, and more individualized.
It’s not just about working hard.
It’s about preparing for college-level expectations.
Our Daily Schedule
We’ve structured our days to give athletes flexibility while keeping the environment focused and intentional:
11:00 AM – Performance (High School) (M-F)
12:00 PM – Performance Mobility (M-F)
1:00 PM – Development (Middle School) (M-F)
4:00 PM – Performance / Development Flex (Mon–Th)
5:00 PM – Foundations (Tu & Th)
The midday blocks create a true performance environment.
The 4:00 PM session gives flexibility for athletes who can’t make earlier times.
The 5:00 PM Foundations class serves as the entry point for younger athletes.
Mobility & Recovery (Built In)
One of the biggest things athletes miss is recovery.
That’s why we built it directly into the schedule.
Our Performance Mobility class at 12:00 PM is included and strongly encouraged.
Athletes can:
Stay after their 11:00 session
Come early before their 1:00 session
This gives them dedicated time to:
improve mobility
recover properly
and stay healthy throughout the summer
This isn’t extra—it’s part of the system.
Why This Matters
Most programs either:
push intensity too early
or stay too general for too long
We bridge that gap.
Athletes don’t just show up and work hard—they develop.
They learn how to:
generate force
absorb force
move efficiently
and perform under control
That’s what actually translates to sport.
Final Thought
We’re not trying to do more.
We’re trying to do it better.
If you’re looking for a place where your athlete just shows up and sweats, there are plenty of options.
If you’re looking for a structured system that actually develops athletes over time, that’s what we’re building at Gray Wolf.
